LISA FERREIRA

Grew up in Long Island, New York.  Studied ballet at performing arts school and Summers with the New York City Ballet.  Traded in her pointe shoes and tutu to enter university to study finance.  After completing undergrad, landed asset management position at Wall Street real estate investment banking firm.  Business dreams deferred after being "discovered" in Union Square.  This led to stints in music videos and national commercials.  Lisa appeared in several Verizon and Chevrolet commercials among other national spots. All the while studying and honing her acting craft under the guidance of Susan Bastson, William Esper and Bob Krakower.  Lisa has been known to shake a tail feather.  She is the director of Pure Samba, a Brazilian samba dance company.  *See photo on Home page.  It's like being an athlete in 4" heels.  In fact, Lisa recently created a commercial for Hershey's Kisses - Say it with a Kiss campaign.  It features herself and 2 samba sisters from Pure Samba.  Watch "Samba Sisters".
